Who we are

Lime Associates is a multidisciplinary team of manufacturing consultants that specialises in Optimising Cost and delivering Supply Chain solutions to Medical Device and Health Technology businesses.
The team of directors and associates have over 60 years Purchasing and Supply Chain experience in the highly regulated Medical industry and that’s why respected clients like Owen Mumford, Smith & Nephew, Tissue Therapies and Sartorius trust Lime Associates to deliver outstanding results.
Lime Associates is a flexible team of experts in low cost sourcing, category management, global supply chain strategy, tactical procurement, supplier relationship management and process improvement who respond to your brief by selecting the right team to meet the specific needs of each very individual project.

  • Malcolm Worrall

    Marketing Director and Chairman

    Malcolm is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. He has 30 years of experience of blue chip Marketing and Supply Chain management roles. He has also held board level positions at local, Regional and National level within the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Malcolm’s specialist skills are helping a number of clients with the commercialisation of their medical device products.

    Over 13 years of Medical Purchasing experience makes James a true subject matter expert. With the ability to effect change in our heavily regulated environment James has demonstrated a wealth of improvements for Lime Associates clients.

  • Steve Langron

    Supply Chain Director

    Steve has a PhD from the University of Bath and boasts over 25 years of Supply Chain experience in the FMCG and Medical Device sectors. Steve’s skills set really comes to fore when discussing supply chain projects involving ERP implementations.

  • Ian Claydon-Butler

    Senior Consultant

    Ian has a strong track record at Chief Procurement Officer or at Director level in the private and public sectors, having worked for numerous organisations including AGMA, AstraZeneca, Smith & Nephew, AMCo, SSL International, Oldham Metropolitan Council, Powderject/Chiron and Peel Ports Group.

    Sales and Marketing Consultant

    Tony has over 30 years of UK and International Sales and Marketing experience gained in positions in a cross section of industries and in particular, medical devices. He has a B.A. (Hons.) in Modern Languages (German and Spanish).

  • Pelleren Hodges

    Senior GDP Consultant & Contract RP

    Pelleren has 30+ years experience of UK and International logistics and supply chain management from many industries in particular pharmaceutical. He has a BA(Hons) in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, is a member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics Transport and Chartered Institute of Purchase & Supply. Pelleren brings common sense and pragmatic solutions to all aspects of GDP and WDA requirements.

  • Paul Nixon

    Logistics and Distribution Consultant

    Paul is a highly experienced logistics, distribution and project manager with expertise gained from nearly 25 years of varied logistics and distribution projects. Paul is expert in both supply chain and warehouse & distribution operations and has worked with companies such as Baxter, Arjo Wiggins and Delice de France. He is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport CMILT

  • Rachel Corry

    Research Analyst

    Rachel has a background in administration in Human Resources, Marketing and Supply Chain. At Lime she offers detailed research into supply chain services and costs. Rachel can investigate your supplier base to find alternatives or to provide “benchmark” pricing to evaluate your current suppliers and establish truly competitive tendering.
    Rachel has a first class degree in Theology from Durham University.
